The KL MRT works from Bukit Ria to Phoenix Plaza has started. The contractor is the reputable contracting company, IJM. Piling works have begun with the placement of the heavy duty piling column.
Once more pillars are constructed, the overhead beam laying machine will be launched and sectional beams will be placed on the track.
There are 3 stations to be constructed along this route - One at Bukit Ria, the Second at Bukit Mewah and the third is at Leisure Mall before it goes to Phoenix Plaza.
Works are to be completed by July 2017 at the latest.
The next section from Phoenix Plaza to Bandar Tun Hussein Onn has been awarded to Ahmad Zaki. To date, no works have started at this stretch.
