Besides our monthly Security services payment, the next major expense is our monthly e lectricity consumption. Due to the recently imposed 6% GST in April 2015, our monthly electrical bill has gone up.
We intend to reduce our usage further by changing our 24 hours fire escape corridor lights and some inefficient car parking area lights.
A total 33 sets of these inefficient lights will be changed to more efficient lighting.
Once installed, we should see a reduction of our electricity bill.
Currently, timers are used to switch off our 5 floors of corridor lights from 12 midnight to 6.00am daily. This has helped us to reduce some of our electricity usage.
