DO NOT DUMP RUBBISH HERE

Over the months, some irresponsible persons have been dumping renovation rubbish at the rear of our building next to the TNB sub station.

This illegal dump is unsightly and a health hazard because mosquitoes can breed and spread dengue fever around our premises. It is also a fire hazard since it is located beside the TNB sub station.

We request owners and tenants of our Block J NOT to dump their renovation wastes here. If this request goes unheeded, your JMB may impose a renovation refundable deposit from contractors BEFORE we approve any renovations to be carried out. These deposits will be refunded once the renovation debris are correctly desposed. We are drafting our Block J House Rules before circulating to all owners and tenants.

To keep our premises clean, we have taken the initiative first by engaging a contractor to take away the rubbish since 7th. September 2014. We hope to keep this area trim and proper after this action is taken.

Rubbish cleared since 7.9.2014.

  1. Maybe TNB should fence up the space to prevent illegal dumping by irresponsible contractors and people around the area.

  2. Your JMB secretary has written officially to TNB requesting to fence up the area. Photos of the dump were also submitted as proof of the dump.
