COLLECTION OF SYABAS WATER DEPOSIT AND TENAGA ELECTRICAL DEPOSIT PAID ON BEHALF BY THE DEVELOPER

During our recent AGM in February 2013, owners of properties in Cheras Business Centre were informed about the deposits paid to Syabas and Tenaga Nasional Bhd. These deposits were paid on the owners' behalf by the developer, Winflon Products Sdn. Bhd. Now, the developer has informed our Joint Management Committee that they want these deposits back. They want us to collect the deposits outstanding from the owners and repay them.

Please take note these deposits were paid to Syabas and Tenaga and NOT held by the developer. In fact, these deposits belong to the owners of their units once we pay back the developer. Owners can include these deposits in their sales price of the properties if they sell these properties to new buyers.

In order for your JMB to wholely manage this property, we will soon be sending out notices to ALL owners for this collection.

The collection notice will be based on the size of the properties. We request your co-operation in paying these deposits as soon as possible so that we can pay these dues to the developer. Hopefully, we can complete this important exercise by 30th. June 2013.
