The MRT overhead route will be built below the MRR2-Cheras Flyover as can be seen from the photo on the left. When ready, the train will travel below the flyover.
Currently, column foundations are being constructed by IJM, the contractor of this portion of the KLMRT. It will link the route from the end of Jalan Loke Yew before going across Jalan Cheras. A MRT station with overhead car park will be built near the Shell Station before travelling towards Leisure Mall station.
It will be interesting when the route is completed in 2017. The offices around the MRT like our Cheras Business Centre Block J will increase in value and rentals will be enhanced.
