We walked around the areas where the firefighting hardware were installed which included the firefighting pump room, fire hoses, fire fighting control panels and other related firefighting services.
Globe Engineering will be sending us a price quotation for the implementation of the fire fighting systems and in future, provide firefighting maintenance services to our business centre.
The Joint Management Committee will vet through the firefighting maintenance contract once received before we commit ourselves to their contract services.
Once our firefighting systems are in good operation condition, we hope to implement a Fire Drill exercise for tenants and owners of our business centre. This is to prepare all our residents to be aware of fire evacuation and safety procedures, assembly area during evacuation and the accounting for all personnel by each office suite.
JMC hopefully will work closely with Jabatan Bomba should we wish to have this future fire drill.
