Visited the booth by Ekovest group which is developing the EKOCHERAS project near our commercial center.
The mall and 2 tower blocks are expected to be completed in end 2017.
Jalan Cheras is fast developing. MRT to Kajang is expected to be opened to the public by August 2017.
Tesco extra is located at Taman Midah and MyTown shopping mall was opened in March 2017 and Sunway Vivo mall opened in end 2016. IKEA Cheras is besides MyTown at Jalan Cochrane.
By end 2017, EKOCHERAS shopping mall will be ready.
We also have Leisure Mall which is currently being expanded. Cheras Sentral is also nearby with Giant and Ikon at Taman Connaught with Viva Mall at Jalan Loke Yew.
Cheras residents can now go to different shopping malls around our area or further if we take that MRT.
In summary, we have 10 shopping malls within Cheras namely Viva Mall, IKEA, MyTown, Vivo Sunway, Tesco Extra, Leisure Mall, Cheras Sentral, Giant, Ikon and Ecocheras by end 2017.
