Our Joint Management Committee has taken the initiative to clear off the renovation rubbish piled at the rear of the building near to the entrance of the Cheras Business Centre Block J Car park.
Irresponsible contractors who have carried office renovation over the last few months have not disposed off their rubbish. They took the easy way of dumping the rubbish at the rear. They should have taken away the rubbish with them and dump it at a proper dump yard.
Very soon, the JMC will carry out a houserule that owners and tenants who renovate their office suites MUST deposit with the JMC an amount for safekeeping BEFORE they are allowed to do their renovations. Any rubbish not cleared or damage done to the common area, an amount will be deducted from the original deposit. The balance will then be paid back to the owner or contractor.
This ruling may sound harsh but it will overcome unneccessary dumping by irresponsible contractors when they renovate the office suites.
