The Dewan Bandar Raya Kuala Lumpur has issued the official certificate of incorporation to our Joint Management Committee. It is important that we obtain this official status from City Hall before we can proceed to formalise our official Joint Committee. By doing so, the owners and tenants of our Cheras Commercial Centre (Block J) can undertake to carry out and collect maintenance charges from owners and tenants.
To be able to collect maintenance and sinking funds, the proceeds will be used to maintain and upkeep our Commercial Centre. Our committee has a plan to make our commercial centre outstanding in terms of security and maintenance. If we can get our act together, the value of our Commercial Centre stands to gain in the long term such as higher rentals and higher appreciation of the properties.
The Pro-tem Committee is scheduled to meet up tomorrow, 15th. March 2012 so that Standing Committees can be formed.
