As traffic into and out of Taman Cheras increases daily, residents of Taman Cheras,Cheras Business Centres and surrounding areas should ask Dewan Bandaraya to construct an overhead pedestrian bridge. It should be located on one side of the Cross junction just in front of Public Bank and the other towards CIMB Bank.
The public can cross over Public Bank and Cheras Pantai hospital plus over to CIMB Bank. By doing so, public safety is assured.
Moreover, it can have a decorated gateway to welcome visitors into our Tamans.
Sponsors who contributed to the bridge construction are allowed to have billboards on the pedestrian bridge for a specified period. In future, companies which want to advertise can do so by paying advertisement charges to Dewan Bandaraya.
This can be a CSR project for companies and banks located in our Taman.
